This course covers the fundamental functions of Pro/MECHANICA STRUCTURE and THERMAL to design better products. The course is mostly hands-on, and students have the opportunity to work with either the integrated (with Pro/ENGINEER) or independent mode of operation. After having learned the basics, students will have the opportunity to choose between several problems to work through, picking one that most closely resembles their industry and application.
Upon completion of this course, students should understand the process in simulating and optimizing designs and be able to apply this process to their own basic parts.
